Significantly Inconsequential

I'm awesome.

I’ve not seen this movie yet, but I think I’m pretty sure I’m in love with the Soundtrack. And possibly Bryan Ferry again. Especially Jack White though. And also Baz Luhrmann… Fitzgerald….

I need to see this damn movie.

Photos from this week.

I mean I think. I don’t know what day it is, much less when weeks begin and end.

This is a simulation of a rotating 4 dimensional Cube, otherwise known as a Tesseract.
What you are seeing is it Rotating. It is not being distorted, reshaped, or anything like that. it is simply Rotating - It appears to be distorted because you are only seeing the ‘projection’ of it. similarly if you rotated a 3D cube infront of lamp the shadow you would see would appear to distort.

Clearly this is Time Lord science.
…
It’s bigger on the inside? Anybody?

Policies of Honesty and Justice

I normally wouldn’t stop what I’m doing at work to write much in the way of a post.

Yet here I am.

Truth be told, this last couple of weeks or so have been pretty extreme by my standards, and for the point of not seeming to whine about it, I’ll skip a lot of details. It’s not been a bad time exactly, just very demanding both physically and psychologically.

I will say that I’ve not had a day off in longer than I can remember without looking, including standing in the pouring rain all day Sunday, driving to New Hampshire and back, and working yesterday from 7:30am until 11:30pm at NYU. As in, I was setting up their commencement celebration and then stage managing their talent show so I didn’t sit down for most of the day.

Most of that relates to physical stress. Emotionally: the sunday thing was for a pediatric cancer walk, so it was fulfilling. Stage managing is something I’m terribly in love with (and must say good at), so that was fulfilling. The New Hampshire thing… well. Sean “needed” to go hiking. And that… let’s just say I’m so upset about it that I’m probably in denial about how upset I am.

So all is more or less well, and I’m taking a moment, for myself (away from work), to document this for future perspective on what would otherwise be a black hole in my timeline.

That said, back to work. See you on the other side of the abyss.
